500,000 flowers in Rabin Sqaure Tel Aviv

A huge flower carpet composed of 500,000 flowers and covering is on display in Rabin Square from September 15-17. The flower carpet is a tribute from the city of Brussels to Tel Aviv-Jaffa on the occasion of the centennial celebrations.

Leonard Cohen to perform in Israel, September 24

Twenty nine years after his last performance in Israel, legendary performer Leonard Cohen will play at the Ramat Gan Stadium on September 24. Cohen will perform in Israel as part of his European world tour, under the banner “Reconciliation, Tolerance and Peace.” Six band members and three back-up singers will accompany him for the show, which is expected to last three yours and include his greatest hits, including “Suzanne,” “Dance Me to the End of Love,” “Hallelujah,” “Chelsea Hotel,” “So Long, Marianne,” and many others. No special effects are expected (contrary to Madonna’s recent show in Tel Aviv… At best Leonard Cohen give a tip of the hat). But you can expect an amazing, emotional and exciting show.

Pet Shop Boys coming to Tel Aviv

British electronic dance duo the Pet Shop Boys is coming to  Tel Aviv on July 21 a for single concert at the Israel Trade Fairs Center .  The Pet Shop Boys will play a single gig as part of the Pepsi Max Music Show project. The show comes as a stop on the band’s world tour promoting its newest album, Yes.

Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Good service and smiles from the cafe staff. Excellent free wireless broadband in every room Breakfast was quite good with many choices, although the cooked items were sometimes not so good. The location on Ben Yehuda St is very convenient….
